INDIVIDUAL VOLUNTEER
Since 2019, Black Girls Do STEM (BGDSTEM) has served over 200 girls within our region of St. Louis, Missouri and has served additional girls via virtual learning outside of our physical geographical area.
BGDSTEM is looking for dedicated volunteer to join in the mission to trigger an increased curiosity through deliberate education, access and opportunity in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics in the minds of black girls in every community.

GROUP / ORG VOLUNTEER

BGDSTEM is looking for dedicated volunteer to join in the mission to trigger an increased curiosity through deliberate education, access and opportunity in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics in the minds of black girls in every community.
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT VOLUNTEER
By completing this form, I agree as a volunteer to abide by all applicable rules and regulations of Black Girls Do STEM. All high school student volunteers are allowed to volunteer up to 20 hours a month with our organization.
Summer applications will be reviewed the week of June 12th and volunteering will begin in the month of July.
STEM Saturday Support: Visit one STEM Saturday site a month and act as mentor and helper for middle school girls learning STEM content, at the direction of staff leads.
Events and Fundraising: Plan and execute on fundraising event for donors and volunteers alongside staff leads. Invited started Q2 of the year in April or May.
Community Outreach: Conduct calls to BGDSTEM parents as apart of weekly phone banking for various reason, phone scripts and call list will outline specific details for the call’s weekly, beginning in April annually. Attend tables at community events and share literature and marketing materials promoting the Black Girls Do STEM program for middle schoolers.
